Youth and Family Alternatives (YFA) will host its Rap River Run on June 8, at Sims Park, 6400 Circle Blvd., in New Port Richey. The 10K will begin at 6:30 a.m., the 5K at 7:30 a.m., and the Kid’s Fun Run at 8:30 a.m. The Rap River Run helps raise awareness and resources for YFA’s RAP House in New Port Richey, a runaway and homeless youth shelter open since 1970, according to a news release.
