LANCO joins Tampa Pig Jig lineup

TAMPA – LANCO has joined the all-star lineup for the Tampa Pig Jig, replacing The Cadillac Three, who had to bow out of their remaining 2024 tour dates. 

LANCO topped the country charts with its debut album “Hallelujah Nights” and landed on the charts with singles such as “Greatest Love Story,” “Born to Love You” and “Love Live Tonight.”

The Tampa Pig Jig lineup includes three-time CMA Award winner Dierks Bentley, American rock band The Revivalists, singer-songwriter Chase Rice and breakout country star Greylan James.

The philanthropic community event returns Oct. 19, at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. 

General admission tickets cost $130, which includes access to the main lawn, game areas and food row vendors. Children 10 and under get in free with an accompanying adult. 

It donates proceeds from the Tampa Pig Jig to NephCure, funding critical research to find a cure for rare kidney disease.

Oct. 16

Halloween Festival

The Spooktacular Halloween Fest includes games and activities at East Pasco Education Academy. Admission costs $10 per child (3 and older) and free for adults. Hot dogs, chips, sno-cones and drinks will be for sale. The event includes games, crafts, cake walk, costume contest for ages 3-12 at 7:15 p.m. and storytime.

The Dade City Garden Club and The City of Dade City present the 2024 Monarch Butterfly Festival at Polly Touchton Park. The Pasco Flea Fest: Fall Edition features vendors, a flea market, food vendors, a swap meet and live entertainment at Land O’ Lakes Heritage Park.. Comedy Show

Max Amini performs stand-up comedy at Tampa Theatre. Amini burst into comedy in Los Angeles in 2002. This show, which features mature themes and adult language, is intended for ages 13 and older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets range from $45 to $110 plus taxes and fees (VIP tickets for front four rows cost $125). Buy them at tampatheatre.org.

Talk to Santa

The East Pasco Amateur Radio Society lets children talk to Santa via ham radio during the Church Street Christmas Walk in Dade City. The free event is open to the public. The East Pasco Amateur Radio Society hosts its Winter Field Day event at the San Antonio Train Depot Museum. Local amateur radio operators will be on the air for 24 hours straight.
