The Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., in Tampa, is offering $4 children’s admission during the Fourth of July weekend, July 3 to July 5, with the purchase of an adult or senior citizen general admission ticket. The Dade City Rod & Gun Club will host an NRA Basic Rifle Course for kids ages 8 to 17 on July 11. There will be two four-hour programs, one from 8 a.m. to noon, and one from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Ammunition and .22-caliber rifles will be provided. Parents or legal guardians must sign a waiver.
