The Hot Boys to reunite in Tampa

CHARLOTTE – Live Nation Urban announced an exclusive three-performance slate of shows headlined by Lil Wayne with special guests Hot Boys (B.G., Juvenile and Turk), presented by Lil’ WeezyAna.

Lil Wayne, B.G., Juvenile and Turk took the stage together for the first time in over 15 years at last year’s sold-out Lil’ WeezyAna Fest in New Orleans. TAMPA – Fred Armisen will bring his “Comedy for Musicians But Everyone is Welcome” tour to Tampa Theatre. 

Armisen is an 11-season veteran of “Saturday Night Live,” but he has stayed busy with acting credits in “Portlandia,” “Wednesday” and “Los Espookys.” 

He also voices characters in the hit animated “Super Mario Bros” movie as well as characters in “Big Mouth” and “The Mitchells vs. The Machines.” 

Armisen is currently starring in the Broadway play “All In.” He also served as band leader of the 8G Band on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” from 2014 to 2024.

TAMPA – Chris Distefano is coming back to Tampa Theatre, this time as part of his Chrissy Floridas tour.

Distefano rose to success after performances on the “Guy Code/Girl Code” series. 

He went on to star in IFC’s “Benders,” co-host the Netflix gameshow “Ultimate Beastmaster,” and starred in his own CBS sitcom. In 2022, Chris was selected by Jimmy Kimmel to host Jimmy’s latest TV venture, “Super Maximum Retro Show,” for ViceTV.

His first full-length comedy special, “Size 38 Waist,” in 2019, encompassed his nice-guy charm and Brooklyn-born edge. His second special, “Speshy Weshy,” premiered on Netflix in May 2022. A third special is set to release in early 2025.

He will perform songs from his recent No. 1 album ‘Deeper Waters,’ as well as many of his familiar hits that have garnered him multiple artist of the year nods and even an artist of the decade top contender spot.

Earlier this year, Camp notched his 44th No. 1 single with “These Days,” the track that serves as the inspiration for this 21-date tour. The anthem is the lead single from his album “Deeper Waters,” which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Christian chart and marked Camp’s highest album streaming debut of his career.

Between 2002 and 2024, Camp released 12 albums, five of them RIAA-certified as Gold. He has sold more than 6 million albums with 43 No. 1 singles across all formats. 

Outside of music, Jeremy had an international theatrical movie release in 2020 called “I Still Believe,” which hit No. 1 at the box office opening weekend. The film depicted his life story of love and the loss of his first wife after a battle with cancer. 

Tickets range from $29.75 to $74.75 plus taxes and fees. They went on sale Dec. 20 at the Franklin Street Box Office and at tampatheatre.org. A limited number of pre-show VIP add-on tickets will also be available in advance.

TAMPA – Grammy-nominated Poppy is following up on the release of her fifth album, “Negative Spaces,” with a North American tour in 2025.

“Negative Spaces” offers several singles that s Hwalk the line of several genres, including delicately delivered pop (“yesterday”), full bodied screams (“have you had enough”), synth-symbiotic ‘80s retro-futurism (“crystallized”) and energy-jolted ‘00s pop-punk (“Negative Spaces”). 

Poppy has spent 2024 touring with 30 Second to Mars and Avenged Sevenfold as well as releasing collaborative singles with the likes of Bad Omens (“V.A.N.”) and Knocked Loose (“Suffocate”).

Joe Gatto returning to Tampa Theatre stage

TAMPA – Comedian Joe Gatto is bringing his Let’s Get Into It Tour to the Tampa Theatre.

The event starts at 7 p.m. May 17. Tickets range from $39.75 to $99.75, plus taxes and fees, at tampatheatre.org. VIP tickets are available. This show is intended for ages 16 and older.

Gatto is best known from the hit TV shows “Impractical Jokers” and “The Misery Index.”  

Most recently, he toured for two years with his stand-up solo show Joe Gatto’s Night of Comedy in sold out theaters across the United States, Canada and Australia. 

Prior to that, he has toured with the Jokers Live comedy show to sold-out crowds.

Gatto is passionate about supporting anti-bullying organizations and animal rescue initiatives. He advocates for the “Adopt, Don’t Shop” movement with his nonprofit Gatto Pups and Friends founded in 2022 which operates on Long Island, NY focusing on mainly senior and unwanted dogs.

Terlep Chiropractic holds its annual Toys For Tots event to help children in need in the Hernando County area. New patients who donate an unwrapped toy will receive a complimentary consultation, x-ray, and exam. Existing patients who donate an unwrapped toy receive a voucher for an adjustment and Hydrotherapy. This year’s event includes free Photos With Santa, Games, Face Painting, Photo Booth, Snow Scavenger Hunt and Local Vendors.
