Farm Share, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Pasco Sheriff’s Charities, Pasco County NAACP, Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay, The Gentlemen’s Course, and Samaritan Corporation of Pasco County Inc., will host a free food distribution on April 18 from 9 a.m., until food items run out, at the Boys & Girls Club of Lacoochee, 38724 Mudcat Grant Blvd., in Dade City. This is a drive-thru, rain or shine, first-come first-served event.

The New Tampa Players will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on April 19, April 20 and April 21. This Penguin Project and Ampersand Theatre Production is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob and the coat of many colors. 06/23/2024 – 24-hour Field Day
The East Pasco Amateur Radio Society will host its ARRL Field Day at the San Antonio Train Depot museum, 32627 Railroad Ave., starting at 2 p.m. on June 23 until 2 p.m. on June 24. Local amateur radio operators will be on air for 24 hours, as a practice for emergency radio communications. Little Mermaid jr.
Live Oak Theatre’s “The Little Mermaid jr.” will open on May 5 and run through May 19, at the Carol and Frank Morsani Center for the Arts, 21030 Cortez Blvd., in Brooksville. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Doors open about 30 minutes before showtime. Tampa Theatre, 711 N. Franklin St., will celebrate May the 4th, aka Star Wars Day, with three Star Wars screenings on that day:
- “Star Wars: A New Hope” (1977, PG) at 1:15 p.m.
- “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” (1980, PG) at 4:30 p.m.
- “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” (1983, PG) at 7:45 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to wear costumes. The day also will feature special guest appearances by local members of the 501st Legion. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime. The Ceramic Garden-Where Art is Therapy, 19213 N. Dale Mabry Highway in Lutz, will celebrate its 19th anniversary on April 27 from noon to 6 p.m., with special studio fees, pottery wheel demonstrations, free beading and face painting, raffles, hand-writing and palm-reading for adults, door prizes and refreshments.
